UK: Daikin is offering MSC certified installers £250 each time they install a Daikin air source heat pump in England, Scotland or Wales.
The scheme is directly linked to the Boiler Modernization Scheme (BUS) and the Home Energy Scotland Scheme (HESS). In Scotland, eligible products will also include hybrid boilers.
Henk van den Berg, Daikin’s head of housing, said the offer would be especially attractive to gas installers who also want to expand their renewable energy business. “This will require additional investment and training to prove your skills in the future, so the £250 bonus for installing a heat pump is another good reason to prepare for renewable energy,” added Henk van den Berg.
Along with the installer incentive scheme, Daikin’s new installer offer includes free heat pump training at the Daikin Sustainable Home Center and a £100 discount on MCS Simple Accreditation. In addition to this, new installers will also receive a 40% discount on the first heat pump unit purchased from a local center and commissioning support for the first three air source heat pump units they take over.
