BELGIUM: Daikin Europe will present a CO2 version of its ZEAS refrigeration unit at the sustainable refrigeration stand at Chillventa in Nuremberg.

The new ZEAS and propane monobloc will be on display in Hall 7 along with a growing range of refrigeration products from Daikin’s acquisitions of Zanotti, Tewis and AHT.

The air conditioning and heat pump stand in Hall 4A was the first time Daikin Europe had dedicated a stand to refrigeration.

Daikin CO2 ZEAS monobloc condensing units are available in models from 8 to 12 HP. and 15 hp, providing cooling of showcases and evaporators in the range from -4° to +5°. The use of Daikin’s two-stage technology is claimed to result in a lower compression ratio in each stage, lower energy consumption, lower discharge temperature, lower compressor load and longer life.

The new inverter controlled propane monobloc is said to be quiet, easy to upgrade, easy to install and easy to access for maintenance. Being compact, the devices can also be installed on the ceiling and will come with a remote monitoring system with a dedicated application and cloud services.

The new CO2 ZEAS, along with the CO2 Conveni-Packs and TEWIS CO2 racks already on the market, will be complemented by the newly launched AHT CO2 display cabinets.
