Hilde Crevits, Flemish Minister for Work and Innovation, and 18 students of the Maerlant Atheneum in Blankenberge visit Daikin’s factory in Ostend.

The visit was part of a roadshow that takes Flemish ministers and high school students to innovative companies, frontrunners on sustainability in their sector. Last Wednesday the group visited ICO in Zeebrugge and Daikin in Ostend. It was great to receive visitors again in person on our premises. There is no better way to see how we work daily on innovation and sustainability than by coming over and have a look yourself. We showed our guests around in the factory, our experience centre and talked about how we develop Heat Pumps, as well as equipment for sustainable cold chain.

Thank you to Vlaamse Ondernemers, VOKA, Technopolis and De Lijn for organizing this great initiative. Read more about this initiative on www.detoekomstwerkt.be. Check out Technopolis’ vlog about the day of the visit : https://youtu.be/n8LbGIOTxcE
