UK: Daikin UK claims to have provided free face-to-face training to 6,132 installers in 2024.
Daikin also says it has opened 11 new Sustainable Home Centre training facilities across the UK in the past year and provided 46 third party training centres with products to help them meet their own training needs.
In addition, Daikin UK has provided government-funded heat pump training worth over £40,000.
“It is extremely exciting to celebrate our recent successes, including training more than 6,000 people across our five national training centres by 2024,” said Daikin Training Manager Daniel Jackson.
He said Daikin UK’s plans for 2025 included opening more training centres, delivering more heat pump training courses funded by UK Government grants and expanding its portfolio of free training.
The company has acquired an additional building to expand its existing training facilities in Manchester and will be further expanding its existing network of over 40 Sustainable Home training centres. It is also looking to expand its portfolio of free training to support the growing needs of installers and engineers.
Daikin’s free training programs cover the full range of Altherma and DX product training, including installation, diagnostics and troubleshooting.
The company’s training centres are located in Woking, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.
