INDIA: Daikin officially opened its new 300,000 m2 air conditioning manufacturing plant.
The Sri City plant is Daikin’s third major plant in India. It will complement the company’s two existing plants located in Neemrana, Rajasthan, northern India, and will produce domestic air conditioners and compressors.

“This plant will significantly increase Daikin’s production capacity and further strengthen its growth ambitions in India,” said Daikin Air Conditioning India President Kanwal Jeet Jawa.

Daikin plans to export products from its Indian facilities to regions with high ambient temperatures and similar climatic conditions, such as neighboring countries in Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

The company has approximately 100 production bases worldwide and operates in more than 170 countries.
