United Kingdom: Daikin UK will open another of its sustainable home centres in Darlington, the premises of family-owned plumbing and building materials retailer DPH.
The official opening on April 30th came two years ago after a significant expansion of DPH’s facilities and the creation of its own innovation and education center, the 4D Center.
The 4D centre now features a Daikin showroom and dedicated training centre, as well as a two-storey kitchen and bathroom showroom with a bespoke joinery workshop.
The new center will regularly host installer training sessions, product demonstrations and homeowner open houses, giving local tradespeople the opportunity to gain certified training and allowing consumers to see installations and interfaces in context.
A two-story showroom and custom carpentry workshop allow for a comprehensive systems approach, from equipment and controls to the finished aesthetics of kitchens and bathrooms, so customers can envision how low-carbon systems integrate into modern homes.
