USA: Daikin Applied has acquired a majority stake in Varitec Solutions, a Phoenix-based contractor and long-time partner specializing in the design, engineering and installation of large-scale heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems for commercial buildings.
Varitec was founded in 1975 as Climatec and was renamed Varitec in 2015. The company has over 170 employees serving the HVAC and construction industries in Phoenix, Tucson, Albuquerque, El Paso and surrounding areas.
The acquisition will see them join 30 regional service technicians from Daikin Applied. As a member of the Daikin group, it will continue to trade as Varitec Solutions, with the combined team delivering a full range of HVAC solutions.
