ITALY: Daikin will introduce a new high-temperature option for its VZ range of water-to-water heat pumps, capable of delivering hot water at up to 90°C.
Daikin claims that the extended operating range makes the EWWH-VZ series well suited for a variety of applications, including industrial processes and district heating networks where high-temperature hot water is required. This feature is particularly useful for industrial processes requiring high-temperature water for cleaning, sterilisation or production purposes.
The Daikin EWWH-VZ inverter water-cooled chiller and heat pump provides cooling and heating capacity from 400 kW to 1900 kW.
By separating the electrical panel from the main body, the EWWH-VZ provides greater flexibility in system design and layout, facilitating service access and optimising the use of available space, especially in retrofit projects.
The EWWH-VZ uses single-screw compressors with Variable Volume Ratio (VVR) technology. This system includes a mechanical adjustment mechanism that modulates the discharge volume, allowing the compressor to delay or anticipate the end of the compression cycle.
System reliability is enhanced by the use of Intelligent Chiller Manager (iCM), Daikin’s advanced control solution designed to optimise the performance of multi-unit systems.
