JAPAN/VIETNAM: Daikin has reached a framework agreement to acquire Anh Nguyen Trading Technical Service, a leading instrumentation systems integrator in Vietnam.
Anh Nguyen, based in Ho Chi Minh City, is a leading provider of integrated building management systems with high technical capabilities in BMS design, construction and project management.
Daikin says this acquisition is a strategic initiative to quickly establish cooperation with the building management system and create new value through the integration of air conditioning and building management systems.
Daikin says it will leverage Anh Nguyen’s capabilities and customer base, which has extensive experience supplying products to factories and hotels, to create a system that will allow it to offer integrated air conditioning equipment and building management solutions.
Vietnam’s rapid economic development has led to increased energy consumption, and the country has made an international commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
The acquisition is subject to approval by the relevant authorities and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026.
