Reduced CO2 eq thanks to the use of lower GWP refrigerants such as R-32, R-407H, R-1234ze(E).
Since the launch in 2013 of Ururu Sarara, the first residential air to air heat pump range in Europe to use
R-32 refrigerant, Daikin has worked to convert its portfolio to lower GWP refrigerants.

There is no ideal one-size-fits-all refrigerant for all applications. Therefor we offer a diversity
of refrigerants to match the application.

Daikin has identified R-32 as the most promising next generation refrigerant 78%
for residential and commercial air conditioners. Compared to MARINE TYPES
the commonly used refrigerant R-410A, the Global Warming Potential of
R-32 is only one third, while it allows for a smaller refrigerant volume and
higher energy efficiency. As a single component refrigerant,
R-32 is also easier to recycle and reuse. R-410A R-32

Under the new European F gas regulations, the placing on the market of new R-410A single split
air conditioners (including air to air heat pumps) will be banned from 2025: from this time only
refrigerants with a GWP value below 750 will be allowed. The Daikin models with R-32 refrigerant
